PSG To Sell Neymar to Real Madrid On One Condition

The Brazilian remains a top transfer target for the Liga giants and will be granted a move if he can help to deliver European success in France.

Cavani and Neymar

Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to let Neymar join Real Madrid this summer if he helps the club to Champions League success, Goal understands.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has promised the Brazil international that he will be granted permission to return to Spain if European glory is delivered in the French capital.

Over recent weeks, the 25-year-old has confided in those closest to him that he dreams of returning to Spain at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Neymar only left La Liga in the summer of 2017 as a record-breaking €222 million transfer carried him to Paris from Barcelona.

He is enjoying his time at Parc des Princes, with 24 goals recorded in just 23 appearances, but has made no secret of his desire to become a leading figure at Real.

The Blancos consider him to be the ideal heir to Cristiano Ronaldo, with the 32-year-old Portuguese being mentioned as a possible makeweight in a move for Neymar despite boasting countless records at the Bernabeu.

Neymar would relish taking on such a role, having harboured ambitions of representing Real since being in his early teens. He spent 20 days on trial with the reigning La Liga champions back in 2006 , when he was just 13, and came close to securing a switch in 2013 following talks with Florentino Perez.

Barcelona eventually swooped to scupper those plans, but Real have refused to give up on a long-standing target. Perez has remained vocal in his desire to get a deal done, with the Blancos president having urged Neymar to chase his Ballon d’Or dream with the Spanish giants .

He told reporters after seeing Ronaldo claim that particular prize for a fifth time in December 2017: “Being in Madrid would make it easier to win the Ballon d’Or.

“Real Madrid is a club which gives all you need as a big player, everyone knows that I already wanted to sign him at one point.”

Real could soon get their wish, despite Neymar being tied to a contract at PSG which is due to run until the summer of 2022.

There is no release clause in his current deal , such as the one triggered upon his exit from Camp Nou, with French football’s governing body (LFP) prohibiting such stipulations.

Any agreement with Madrid is therefore dependent on Al-Khelaifi giving the green light. He is prepared to do that, but only if Neymar can help PSG to fulfil their ultimate ambition of claiming a Champions League triumph.

They have reached the last-32 stage of this season’s competition, where they are due to face Real, with the Ligue 1 leaders heavily fancied to mount a serious challenge for the continental crown.

Carabao Cup: How Chelsea Lost 2-1 To Arsenal – Antonio Conte Laments As Wenger Beats Him Again

Chelsea coach Antonio Conte has claimed that injury to some of his star players helped Arsenal to defeat his team on Wednesday night in the EFL Cup semi final.

While speaking to Sky Sports shortly after Chelsea lost 2-1 to Arsenal in their Carabao Cup semi-final second-leg clash on Wednesday night, aimed another subtle dig at Chelsea’s transfer committee and says he was unable to respond to Willian’s injury against Arsenal due to the lack of attacking options available to him.

Willian who has been in fine form for the Blues recently and netted away to Brighton, was forced off with a hamstring injury after 30 minutes during the match and Conte replaced Willian with Ross Barkley who was making his first appearance of the season but lost the game, and he felt the defeat owed much to the weakness of his bench.

The Italian said: “When there is an injury to one of your best players it is not simple, especially when on the bench the only substitute is Ross Barkley.”

Speaking further, Conte said: “I think Willian’s injury was decisive. We don’t have many players to make substitutions. Alvaro Morata was out.

“I was a bit forced to play with Barkley. He’s a really good player and important for Chelsea but needs bit of time to get used to playing for Chelsea and understanding our idea of football.”

Chelsea are already without Morata and Cesc Fabregas and Willian’s injury comes at the worst possible time for the Blues, who are in the middle of a packed fixture list.

However, Conte does not believe Willian will be a long-term absentee and played down the seriousness of the injury.

He continued: “I just spoke to the player. He said he felt a problem in his hamstring but he doesn’t think it will be serious injury. I hope this feeling is right.”

On a positive note, Conte said: “My thoughts are there is disappointment for the final result.

“My players must be pleased with their effort, we tried to reach the final, we conceded two goals and we were unlucky, two deflections.

“It is a pity because we had a good run in this competition, it is a pity for me, the players and fans. We started very well, played a good first half and in the second half I saw a lot of balance.

“When there is an injury to one of your best players it is not simple, especially when on the bench the only substitute is Ross Barkley.

“Barkley has a lot of space for improvement, he is working with us only two weeks but for sure today I was forced to make this substitution, but he can improve a lot.”

Here is the sickening moment a dead man who went missing on Sunday night, was cut out of a seven-metre long python’s stomach after being swallowed whole in a remote village on the island of west Sulawesi,Indonesia.

A giant seven metre-long Python snake which swallowed an Indonesian man whole, has left some residents of a village with the grisly task of removing him from the animal’s belly.

Some gruesome photos which emerged online and have been circulating on social media, appear to show the moment Akbar Salubiro was pulled out from the reptile’s belly on a remote island.

According to The Sun UK, the 25-year-old had set off for work harvesting palm oil on the island of West Sulawesi, Indonesia, on Sunday night. But when he didn’t return home, concerned friends and relatives began looking for him the next evening.

It was learnt that they found the python lying in Akbar’s back garden with a giant bulge in its stomach on Monday night. The locals gathered round as one man used an 18-inch long hunting knife to slice open the serpent – and claim to have found Akbar’s body inside.

Incredible footage shows the corpse being slowly removed from the killer reptile as the leathery skin is peeled away.

While speaking with a correpondent, a neighbour identified as Satriawan who knew Akbar said: “He was found in the location of the garden. Initially Akbar set out from his home to go to harvest palm, after not returning to his home people looked for him.’’

Local media reported that Akbar’s wife Munu was away at the time and only found out when pictures and video emerged in the news, adding that they believed Akbar was attacked from behind.

Village secretary, Salubiro Junaidi said:“People had heard cries from the palm grove the night before Akbar was found in the snake’s stomach.

“When the snake was captured, the boots Akbar was wearing were clearly visible in the stomach of the snake. Resident cut open the belly of the snake and Akbar was lifeless.”

Did Thiery Henry Tell Alexis Sanchez To Quit Arsenal? Here’s What The Chilean Star Said

Alexis Sanchez has spoken out on reports that Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry advised him to leave the club to Premier League rivals, Manchester United.

Thierry Henry denies telling Alexis Sanchez to leave Arsenal for Man Utd

Manchester United latest superstar signing, Alexis Sanchez has denied the reports making the rounds in the media that Thierry Henry told him to leave Arsenal prior to his move to Old Trafford on Monday.

It was learnt that after signing and being unveiled by Manchester United, Sanchez wrote on Instagram: “I remember today, a conversation I had with Henry, a historic Arsenal player, who changed club for the same reason and today is my turn.”

Those comments have been construed by some as Henry, who left Arsenal for Barcelona in 2007, advising Sanchez that it was time to move on.

In a swift reaction, Henry tweeted on Tuesday to dispel the reports. The Frenchman wrote: “I know I don’t need to explain this to the majority of Arsenal fans but contrary to speculation at no time did I tell Alexis Sanchez to leave Arsenal. I had no idea he was going to sign for Man Utd until I saw it on the news like the rest of you.”

The 29-year-old Chile international, Sanchez, could merely have been suggesting there were similarities between the two transfers.

Sanchez tweeted on Wednesday: “I want to clarify that Henry never told me to leave the club, it was a personal decision … he LOVES the club and someday it would be nice to see him as the arsenal coach because he loves the club.”

Man Caught On Camera Working Out In The Gym With His Girlfriend Just Minutes Before Butchering Her To Death

A man has been caught on camera working out inside the gym just a few minutes before he butchered his own woman to death.

The court was shown CCTV footage of Joshua Stimpson putting his workout mat next to Molly’s in the gym

This is the chilling moment a killer works out in the gym next to his ex-girlfriend just minutes before he brutally stabbed her to death, a court has heard.

Joshua Stimpson – who has admitted manslaughter – was caught on CCTV buying the knife that would end Molly McLaren’s life two days before he joined her in the Kent gym.

In the footage, shown to the jury, the now 26-year-old is seen walking – with two knives and a pickaxe in his bag – into the same exercise room as his ex and laying down a mat nearby her.

The 23-year-old notices him and walks over to speak to him, before Stimpson leaves.

Later the footage captures him climbing back up the stairs to the room, with a bottle of water, peering through the door and then turning back.

He is then seen holding a gym bag and walking out of the gym into the Chatham Dockside Outlet car park where Molly would be killed.

The court was also shown chilling footage of Molly leaving the gym while typing something on her phone, and police footage of Stimpson in a bloodstained vest.

Stimpson, who admits manslaughter but denies murder, was arrested at the scene.

Yesterday the jury heard Molly told her ex “are you following me now?” as they worked out, before she messaged pals moments before she died to say: “Feel like I’m looking over my shoulder all the time.”

The court heard she also sent a text to her mother, Joanne, at 10.45am saying “Mum he’s turned up at the gym and come next to me”.

In a subsequent phone call Mrs McLaren told her daughter to go straight to the family home in Cobham, near Gravesend.

Jurors were told she tried to call 20 minutes later but got no reply.

Minutes later, Molly was repeatedly knifed in the neck and head, the court heard yesterday.

Describing Molly as the most loving daughter with a heart of gold, Mrs McLaren said: “I feel completely numb and broken. It doesn’t seem real.

“How could Josh leave my beautiful daughter dead in a car park. At the moment I just feel complete emptiness.”

The court today heard a woman who met Stimpson through Facebook thought he was “obsessional and strange”.

Alexandra Dale, who gave evidence over a TV link, said after she broke things off with him he called her repeatedly and she found her car tyres had been slashed.

Molly told her mum she had seen posts online from Stimpson after they broke up which said “there’s more to come”, and the pair were so concerned they circulated photos of him to neighbours, the court heard.

As CCTV of the shopping outlet car park was shown, with a time of 10.58am, prosecutor Philip Bennetts said: “By this time the defendant must have been watching her, waiting for her to come out.

“Waiting as he drives slowly along, waiting for the moment that he has carefully considered to kill her.”

He added: “It’s a matter for you whether he has, from the purchasing of the knife to going there (the gym) that day, because he must have known she would be there, whether he has carefully considered that execution of Molly.”

A jury was shown a blood-soaked Asda knife which it is claimed Molly was stabbed to death with by “manipulative and nasty” Stimpson.

Police allege that a witness to the attack, Benjamin Morton, tried to pull the 26-year-old off Molly as she screamed.

It is also said that he tried to close the car door on Stimpson’s leg which was hanging out of the vehicle, but he moved inside and carried on his attack.

The couple had been together for about seven months before Molly McLaren ended the relationship

Mr Morton is alleged to have later told police Stimpson was “continuously” stabbing the second year University of Kent student, mainly in the neck area.

He claimed: “It was like a frenzy, he was doing it again and again.”

In custody Stimpson was seen by a mental health nurse and when asked if he had had thoughts about harming Molly before the killing he allegedly replied: “Maybe yesterday but I didn’t act on them.”

Asked about whether he had been experiencing any difficulties with his thoughts, he allegedly said: “I must have or I wouldn’t have done this.”

At the start of the trial at Maidstone Crown Court in Kent yesterday, Mr Bennetts QC told the jury of seven men and five women: “The defendant has pleaded guilty to manslaughter on the basis that at the time of the killing he was suffering from diminished responsibility.

“The prosecution do not accept that he was.”

The court heard Molly and Stimpson started dating in November 2016 after meeting through Tinder but briefly split four months later.

She finally ended the relationship for good on June 17, just 12 days before she died.

In the intervening days the window firm warehouse worker began posting derogatory comments and photos about the part-time barmaid on Facebook, it is alleged.

These included lies about her using cocaine and he tagged people so that all her family could see.

Molly reported the posts to police on June 22. Stimpson, of High Street Wouldham, near Rochester, Kent, was spoken to but it allegedly continued.

The previous day Molly had told a relative she feared he would hurt her.

Mr Bennetts said yesterday Stimpson “may or may not” have also been stalking Molly after their break-up, but he did begin to follow her.

Two days before the alleged murder Stimpson had joined the nearby Nuffield Gym at Medway Valley Park, where Molly had applied for a receptionist’s job a week earlier.

That same day, he bought a Subatier paring knife from an Asda store in Chatham. It was found on the driver’s seat of Molly’s car after she died.

Police also allegedly discovered a Saxon pick axe in Stimpson’s car. It had also been bought on June 27.

The night before she died it is alleged Stimpson also turned up to the same pub, The Ship and Trades, at an outlet centre where Molly was with friends.

Stimpson, wearing a blue suit, shirt and tie, sat impassively in the dock while the case was opened yesterday.

The court heard that he told a work colleague he suffered from bipolar disorder.

His family were in the court public gallery as were Molly’s parents, Douglas and Joanne.

Stimpson denies murder. The trial continues.

2018 World Cup: Rohr Gives Enyeama Condition To Make Squad

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama has a chance to represent Nigeria in between the sticks if he returns to full fitness level.

Vincent Enyeama

Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Gernot Rohr, has spoken on the chances of Lille out-of-favour goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama coming into his World Cup squad.

The Franco-German gaffer said he would recall Enyeama to the team only if he is active at club level before the end of the season.

He told News Agency of Nigeria, “We are waiting for what will happen to Enyeama if he plays for his club and get more playing time he can make it.

“He’s been delayed now because of his injury and now, he has about two goalkeepers ahead of him, so he has to change club during this FIFA transfer window.

“We also have other good goalkeepers. When I arrived, Carl Ikeme did well but now out because of illness; we are praying for him, then, Akpeyi who played against Algeria but unlucky against South Africa.

“We also have Ezenwa, Alampasu who is not playing regularly in Portugal and the new entrant Uzoho, who is doing well with the U-23 team of Deportivo La Coruna in Spain,’’ he said.

“The first consideration is the fitness of the player if the player gets a regular playing time in his club.”
