Buhari Should Continue To Be In Power Beyond 2019 – SCCD

The State Coordinator, The Society For Continum Of Change And Development (SCCD) Social Media and Publicity in Kwara State has said that President Muhammadu Buhari should continue to rule the country.

The statement:

According to the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (1999), Chapter two (2), Section fourteen (14) Sub-section 2b under the *”Fundamental Objectives and Directive Principles of State Policy”* states that: *”The Security and Welfare of the People Shall Be the Primary Purpose of Government”*. In view of this particular portion of the constitution, we hereby wish to appreciate, celebrate, and congratulate the *number one (1) citizen* and *Commander-in-chief* of the *Nigerian Armed Forces* in person of the people’s general, *President Muhammadu Buhari*, on the successful Return of the *#Dapchi school girls*, after a thorough and highly professional negotiation process. We say a very big thank you to the father of all Nigerians, and we wish to let him know that the Youths and Women of the Nation are very much proud of him.

With this, Mr. President has shown that he is committed to the security and well-being of his subjects, and has also directly shown his support for the girl-child education. We beckon on Mr. President to continue doing more, we see him as a good man, but with the release of the #Dapchischoolgirls, his good has become even better, and we can only pray that his being better translates to his best for total restoration of the lost but gradually resuscitating glory of our dear Nation.

Lastly, we wish to urge and encourage the President to seek re-election come 2019, as we are fully committed to his re-election, and our mandate of mobilising 10 million votes for him come 2019 still remains intact, as creating *”More Awareness to More People in More Places”* that President Muhammadu Buhari is needed beyond 2019 still remains our watchword.
